The designation is earned by completing the Canadian Certified Administrative Professional (CCAP) program, for which you must be a member of the Association of Administrative Professionals (AAP).

To work as a corporate sales manager in BC, you may choose to earn the Certified Sales Associate (CSA) designation. Eligibility is achieved through attaining a Canadian Professional Sales Association (CPSA) Institute Sales Certificate, or 35 hours of accredited pre-requisite education in sales aligned with the Sales Professional Competency Framework. You must also have a minimum of 6 months of verified sales experience in client-facing roles.

Employment as a corporate sales manager usually requires several years of related work experience.

To work as a corporate sales manager in BC, you may choose to earn the Certified Sales Leader designation. Eligibility is achieved through the completion of a university degree, 35 hours of pre-requisite education aligned with the Sales Leader Competency Framework, and 6 years of cumulative work experience. 

Employment as a corporate sales manager usually requires several years of related work experience.

To work as a corporate sales manager in BC, you may choose to earn the Certified Sales Professional (CSP®) designation. Eligibility is achieved after you have a college diploma and accumulated 35 hours of accredited pre-requisite education in sales aligned to the Sales Professional Competency Framework, a minimum of 4 years of verified experience independently managing client accounts, and evidence of meeting/exceeding targets for at least 2 of those years.

Business Post Baccalaureate Diplomas

Human resources professionals develop, implement and evaluate human resources and labour relations policies, programs and procedures and advise employers and employees on human resources matters. They are employed throughout the public and private sectors, or they may be self-employed.

Human resources and recruitment officers identify and advertise job vacancies, recruit candidates, and assist in the selection and reassignment of employees. They are employed throughout the private and public sectors.

Administrative officers oversee and implement administrative procedures, establish work priorities, conduct analyses of administrative operations and coordinate acquisition of administrative services such as office space, supplies and security services. They are employed throughout the public and private sectors. Administrative officers who are supervisors are included in this unit group.

Corporate sales managers plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the activities of establishments and departments involved in commercial, industrial, institutional, e-business and wholesale and retail sales. They are employed by commercial, industrial and wholesale and retail trade establishments.

The Post-Degree Business Diploma allows you to support your existing education with a strong understanding of business practices.  Upon completing this two-year diploma, you will acquire skills appropriate for business managers and entrepreneurs. This program will be of particular interest if you are planning to manage or open a business focused on delivering a product or service related to your undergraduate education and experience.

The Sustainable Business Practices Post-Degree Diploma is for students who have a bachelor degree in a non-business field. The first year of the diploma provides a foundation in business administration; the second year focuses on the knowledge and analytical skills to promote sustainability initiatives and support sustainability requirements. You will examine best practices in sustainable business activities, perform case study analysis, compare sustainable reporting frameworks, and examine environmental sustainability from a scientific perspective. Sustainable business planning will also be examined through government, not-for-profit and for-profit business lenses focusing on specific business functions such as marketing, human resource management, finance, operations and leadership.

Sustainable Business Practices Post-Degree Diploma

The Business Law Post-Degree Diploma will teach you the fundamentals of business law. You’ll learn the basics of business, finance and accounting law, how to draft and interpret employment and service contracts, and more. This program is designed for business owners and managers, professionals in accounting, finance, risk management or human resources, and anyone who might have to review and negotiate contracts in a business or sales setting. You must already have a bachelor’s degree to take this program. You'll also have the option to participate in the Career Boost program. 

Business Law Post-Degree Diploma

The Business Administration (PDD-BA) Post-Degree Diploma is for students who hold a bachelor’s degree and wish to pursue a career in business. This PDD-BA is a two-year program consisting of four semesters of in-class studies plus a one semester experiential work term which provides you with a career experience work placement. You'll take courses in professional business practice, operations management, business strategy, accounting, marketing, and more. You'll also have the option of completing an additional Advanced Project Management Certificate.

The Commerce Post-Baccalaureate Certificate allows students with a recognized degree in business or commerce to choose from five concentrations in accounting, finance, human resources, leadership and marketing. 

Commerce Post-Baccalaureate Certificate

The Commerce Post-Baccalaureate Diploma allows students with a recognized degree in fields other than business and commerce to choose from six concentrations in accounting, finance, general management, human resources, leadership and marketing. Students will build from core knowledge in accounting, management, commercial law, and economics. Providing conceptual, people management and decision-making skills. 

Commerce Post-Baccalaureate Diploma

The Entrepreneurship Post-Baccalaureate Diploma is for students who have a non-business degree and want to return to university for one or two years to acquire a specialty in a functional area of business. Students with a first degree in business, but who want to change their area of focus, may complete a Post-baccalaureate diploma as well. Complete coursework in business statistics, financial management, accounting, marketing, commercial law, supply chain management, new venture creation, small business management and finance, new product development, and more. 

Entrepreneurship Post-Baccalaureate Diploma

The Business Analytics Post-Baccalaureate Diploma equips you with all tools to support the identification of trends, to master predictive modelling, and to be able to structure unstructured data sources and provide responsible recommendations. By taking courses in business, computing, and statistics, you will gain the technical skills you need to house, extract, manipulate data, and deal with decision-making processes.
